The assigned Healthcare Virtual Organization, Patton-Fuller Community Hospital,is working to position itself as a national leader in pediatric care. The hospital's strategic plan encompasses three priorities: enhancing the patient experience, discovering new treatments, and improving performance. The new strategic direction includes constructing a new pediatric wing where a staff specializing in pediatric care may treat patients. Plans for the new wing include all-private rooms, designed with enhanced sleeping accommodations for parents. Write a 700- to 1,050-word recruitment plan addressing the new strategic direction provided below and a predetermined budget of $4 thousand. Address the following items: Identify staffing needs due to the company’s new strategic direction. Select a recruitment strategy based on the need to fill positions, and explain why the recruitment strategy selected was determined to provide optimal results. Based on the budget provided, create recruiting tools including: a job description and a help wanted ad. Identify where the ad must be placed and explain why it is the best source to attract potential applicants. Using the Affirmation Action Programs regulations from the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) on p. 251 of Staffing Organizations, select six suggested actions that you plan to address within the recruitment plan.
